Proclaiming World Hepatitis Week

World Hepatitis Week is May 17th-23rd, which is time to raise awareness about Hepatitis B. As World Hepatitis Week approaches, we would like to encourage you to contact your city mayor, anyone on your city council, and campus presidents to proclaim World Hepatitis Day or World Hepatitis Week.

Previously, high school chapters have gotten dozens of cities around the San Francisco Bay Area to proclaim this time as World Hepatitis Week. We have gathered sample proclamation letters that our high school chapters and college chapter have written, which you can access by emailing advisors@teamhbv.org. This year, Harvard has gotten a Cambridge city councilor to proclaim it, so it's certainly do-able and very inspiring. We're starting our own mini-movements all across the nation!
